Conscious Sedation
At Fox Run Dental we offer nitrous oxide to our patients to ensure optimal comfort throughout their dental visit. Nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, puts you in a relaxed "twilight" state of mind where you will be consciously aware, but comfortable while your dental treatment is completed. Nitrous oxide is effective for many patients and the most common form of dental sedation.

For a deeper state of sedation, our doctors are highly trained and experienced with the oral conscious sedation process, however this service is typically performed at one of our sister practices, Glacier Dental.
This is a method of sedation where the mind is completely at ease through ingesting a prescription of relaxation medications unique to you. We combine this sedation method with nitrous oxide to ensure you're completely comfortable throughout your visit.
Although this is a type of conscious sedation, you will still need someone to drive you to and from your appointment. If you have any questions, please give us a call

These are great options if sedation is not for you, but you prefer to keep your mind distracted while you are receiving your treatment. Ask us for headphones to take advantage of our audio options or a soft blanket and neck pillow to ensure ultimate comfort throughout your visit.
